Beaver Run Farm,
Rose Hill NC

Dwight Johnson has made a living involving horses for nearly five decades.  While being a father is probably his favorite job, he is also a full-time farrier, trainer, cattle rancher, farmer (he grows the farm's hay) and is the farm maintance "crew".   If he is not riding horses (or the tractor) he is always doing something on or around the farm.

Sylvia Johnson has been involved in horses since she was a child having shown Quarter Horses, Paints and Appaloosas most of her life.  She has her NC open horse show judges card and holds a strong interest in western pleasure, halter and working with children.  She loves showing but really enjoys hitting the trails with Dwight & Casey.

Casey Johnson has been riding since before she could walk.  The Johnson home is full of photos with baby Casey in a childs harness strapped to Dwight or Sylvia while riding through Leatherwood.  She holds numerous Open Show and State titles competing in Halter, Western Pleasure, English & Gaming.  She also loves to trail ride, help with camps and round up cattle.  You can definitely see that she inherits her loves of horses from her mom & dad.
